The duties, goals and responsibilites of a campus-based public safety officer are much the same as municipal policing, however, the delivery of service and application is unique to a campus community. The Ohio School Resource Officers Association is hosting this three-day training to provide campus-based police officers with the information and skills they need to be successful in the campus community. Certificates will be distributed to registrants who successfully attend all sessions and  complete course exercises.

  • Crime Prevention & Community Policing
  • Campus-based safety specialists

Presenters:
Presenters are a combination of campus police chiefs and upper level command staff, and professionals in the fields of school law, safety and higher education administration.
Agenda: Monday - Wednesday:
  8:00 a.m.      Morning sessions begin
  Mid day        Lunch (on your own)
  4:30 p.m.     Afternoon sessions end

Cost:
Registration is $350.  Fee includes training materials, instruction, and one year complimentary OSROA Membership.

Please note: Overnight accommodations are not included in this fee. Local hotel information will be provided in a confirmation letter. Cancellations must be made 72 business hours prior to the seminar date.
